April Sourcing is a buying agency meeting the quality and delivery requirements of some of the most discerning retailers worldwide.

We are known for a unique product handwriting and the ability to continuously bring newness to the table. Design is our strength and we deliver across product categories.

Over the course of the last two decades, April has come to be known for delivering quality across product categories along with design solutions for a wide spectrum of retailers. Equipped with strategically located offices in Singapore, Europe and India – we are a family of 40 merchandisers, designers and quality controllers.

Currently April provides supply chain and design solutions across home goods, apparel, hand bags, leather jackets, accessories & footwear.

Our clients in the USA and UK include Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, Free People, ASOS, Topshop, Oliver Bonas, Warehouse, New Look, Dorothy Perkins and House of Fraser.

Product Design and Development

Design and development forms a core part of the business. Our dedicated Design team performs all functions starting from researching overall trends in the industry, studying mood boards and colour palettes received from our customers - to ensuring we achieve a final sample that fits the brand and the collection. This team dives deep into all aspects of product development, from creating weaves, prints and textures at the fabric mils, all the way to getting the silhouettes right.

Having seen exceptional success with our surface ornamentation concepts, we now have a designated section for developing embellishments and surface details at our in-house studio.

A similar process is followed for shoes and accessories, development of leather and surface treatments is done by April Sourcing. Only final stitching or lasting is performed at the factories

Factory Base

Factories manufacturing for our customers are Audited regularly. Compliance is ensured by a dedicated team that works closely with these factories to ensure that compliance is an ongoing process and regularly monitored by us.

Sustainability

We regularly ship goods using recycled yarns and fabrics, natural dyes and innovative textiles made using sources like corn, hemp and banana leaves. Our teams are continuously interacting with the fabric mills that are working to make the product and the supply chain more sustainable. Some of our efforts in this direction include -

Organic Dying and printing using natural herbs and dyes,
Organic cotton and natural yarns,
Getting factories to get listed with the Sustainable Apparel Coalition and get trained with the Higg Index suite of tools,
Biomaterials that are less resource intensive and more human,
Fully biodegradable fabrics made using natural cellulosic fibres
